Biographical note

I am Director of the Master of Science in Cyber Risk Strategy and Governance jointly offered by Bocconi University and Politecnico of Milano. I am also Associate Professor of Public Administration at the Department of Social and Political Sciences at Bocconi University, Milan Italy and I currently serve as Director of Research for Government at SDA Bocconi School of Management.

My main research interests are in the field of cyber risk, government innovation and competitiveness. I published my studies in both domestic and international public administration journals and I support several governments and institutions in their transformation.

About

I am a proud mom, I run to chill down and to be able to enjoy good quality food and wine.

I am curious about different cultures and always ready to explore and travel the world.

Research interests

My career has mainly focused on understanding how innovation influences the performance of public administrations delivering services, mainly at the local level. This has originated my interest in cities as spaces where many actors co-create value for individuals and society. Drawing on existing theories, I have been investigating the determinants and effects of digital transformation in the context of city governments, looking at the pervasive exogenous force of digitalization and at governments’ institutional capacity. I am interested both in the cyberspace as public good and its impact and risks for individuals, public agencies and the society.
