I was born in 1967 in Napoli, where I grew up. I came to Milano to study economics at Bocconi. In 1991, I moved to California, where I earned a PhD in Economics from UCLA. In 1996, I was in Madrid as an assistant professor at Universidad Carlos III, in 2002 in Milano (where Chiara and Isabella were born) as an associate professor of economics in Bocconi. From September 2011 to 2013, I was in Lugano as professor of economics at Università della Svizzera Italiana. I'm now professor of economics in Bocconi and Director of the Bachelor in International Politics and Government.
