Testi d'esame
  • A. CLERICI (a cura di), Computer Science,  Egea, 2017.
  • A. CLERICI (a cura di), Eserciziario di Excel, Egea, 2017, seconda edizione.

Prerequisiti

  • se si tratta di certificazione ECDL Core o Full Standard conseguita in Italia, questo avviene automaticamente;

Detailed Description of Assessment Methods

The exam can be taken in two ways: as two partial exams or as a single general exam.

  • The set of two partial exams is intended only for students who regularly attend the lessons and specifically refer to the chapters mentioned in the course syllabus. Only first-year students can sit partial exams. It is not possible to sit or repeat partial exams in the following years.
  • The single general exam is for students who have not sat or passed the partial exams. This exam refers to the general exam bibliography.
In both cases, the exam consists of multiple choice questions and computer exercises. The software used is Microsoft Office for Windows in English.
N.B.: The exam takes place on several shifts during the same day: the classroom and the exact time will be communicated the day before the exam. The assigned shift cannot be changed.

Textbooks

  • A. CLERICI (edited by), Excel Workbook, Egea, 2017, Second edition.

Prerequisites

To register for the Computer science exam (second partial or general), you need to have obtained one of the following basic ICT certifications: ECDL Core or Full Standard, IC3 2005 Plus, IC3 GS3 or IC3 GS4. Some advanced certifications are accepted in lieu of the basic ones: ECDL Advanced (all of the four certifications), MOS/MCAS Master.

You can achieve or complete the ECDL directly at the university: Bocconi is an accredited test center for ECDL certifications.

Once you have obtained the certification, it has to be recorded by SEDIN:

  • if the certification is ECDL Core or Full Standard and it was achieved in Italy, the prerequisite will be recorded automatically;
  • for other certifications among those allowed, or ECDL achieved (entirely or partially) abroad, it is necessary to bring the original certification personally to the SEDIN office during opening hours.

The deadlines for the achievement of the certification (and the possible submission of documentation) to register for the exams are available on the website of SEDIN, in the section 'Prerequisite for curricular exams'.
