50127 - INGLESE (I LINGUA) / ENGLISH (FIRST LANGUAGE)

A strong B1 (intermediate) general (or higher) entry level is recommended for active participation in learning activities. Per una proficua partecipazione alle attività didattiche è raccomandato un livello di ingresso pari almeno ad B1 (intermedio) general “pieno”.

The course aims at providing level B2 (post intermediate) general (see CEFR framework) knowledge and skills required to pass the Bocconi internal exam. Fornire le conoscenze e competenze previste per il livello B2 (intermedio superiore) general del quadro di riferimento europeo (CEFR) necessarie ai fini del superamento dell’esame interno Bocconi .

The duration of the course is one year (1st and 2nd semester of 1st year) .

The course is divided into the following core areas: Law and order, Landmarks in law, Crimes and Civil Wrongs, Computers in Law, Theft, Employment law, Homicide, International law, Human rights law, in order to acquire a B2 general level (in terms of grammar, syntax and vocabulary) through contextualized situations:

L’insegnamento è annuale (primo + secondo semestre) del 1° anno (96 ore di didattica + prova generale).

Il programma affronta le seguenti macro-tematiche principali in modo da consentire di raggiungere il livello B2 general (in termini di grammatica, sintassi e vocabolario) attraverso situazioni concrete e contestualizzate:

B2 Level - (post intermediate) general
Knowledge

Students will acquire a good knowledge of grammar and syntax ,as well as a fairly wide vocabulary that will enable them to be independent users of the English language and deal with non-familiar and quite complex legal topics.

B2 - Livello intermedio superiore general

Lo studente avrà acquisito conoscenze grammaticali - sintattiche e un range lessicale di buon livello che consentono autonomia di espressione e comprensione anche relativamente ad argomenti non familiari e di una certa complessità.

B2 Level - (post intermediate) general

Skills

Students will be able to write a clear and detailed text on a wide range of subjects; to understand the main ideas of complex texts on both concrete and abstract topics; to interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers possible without strain for either party; to be clear and detailed when speaking and explain a view point giving the pros and cons of various options.

B2 - Livello intermedio superiore general

Capacità di applicare conoscenze

Lo studente sarà in grado di produrre un testo chiaro e dettagliato su un'ampia gamma di argomenti, di comprendere le idee principali di testi articolati su argomenti sia concreti sia astratti. Sarà in grado di interagire con una certa scioltezza e spontaneità che rendono possibile un dialogo naturale con i parlanti nativi senza sforzo per l'interlocutore, esprimendosi in modo chiaro e articolato su molteplici argomenti e riuscirà a spiegare i pro e i contro relativi a varie opzioni.

The internal Bocconi exam is aimed at assessing four skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking, as with international certification.

The mark is expressed out of 30.

Students can sit the exam (“general” mode) as from the end of second semester (after the end of the teaching period).

5 exam sessions are scheduled throughout the year (May-Jun, Jun-Jul, Aug-Sept, Oct, Jan-Feb).

Please note that, in order to sit for the exam, it is required to register via Agenda yoU@B.

L’esame interno Bocconi è finalizzato a valutare quattro abilità: reading, writing, listening e speaking, in analogia al modello delle certificazioni internazionali.

La valutazione prevede voto in trentesimi.

L’esame può essere superato attraverso prove generali a partire dal primo appello successivo al termine della didattica (maggio).

Sono previsti 5 appelli all’anno (maggio-giugno, giugno-luglio, agosto-settembre, ottobre, gennaio-febbraio).
