A competent B2 level of English is recommended for active participation in the development activities covered during the course. These activities have been designed to enable students to approach their core subjects, taught and tested in English, in a much more confident manner.
The course aims at improving students' written legal competence to enable them to confidently face their core subjects taught and tested in English. The course will also aim to widen students' legal knowledge as well as developing their skills set.
The course is a one semester course. Classes will be held twice weekly over a period of ten weeks.
The course will be divided into 4 modules.

Students will acquire the legal writing skills to enable them to confidently sit main course core subjects taught and tested in English. In addition, they will develop their legal reading, listening, and speaking skills.
Students will be able to apply the knowledge and guidance received during the course to their core subject courses, not only during lectures, but also when sitting course exams of subjects taught in English. Their legal skill set, with a strong emphasis on writing, will be developed, and it is hoped they will be able to apply this to their individual academic needs.

The assessment consists in a written exam (there is no oral part).
