Course Objectives

Combining an institutional and historical perspective together with an analytical and economic point of view, we investigate the evolution of different types of capitalism. Our typologies are based on who wins the game: government? Political oligarchies? The managerial class? Or an extended entrepreneurship?
One of the main outcomes of the course is to single out policies that could be adopted to assure the continued flourishing of a country’s economy.
