Nata a Trieste, il 16 Aprile 1974. Laurea in Economia Politica presso l'Università Bocconi; Master of Science (Science and Technology Policy), presso lo SPRU, Sussex University, Brighton, UK; Dottorato in Economia e Gestione dell'Innovazione, Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna di Studi Universitari e Perfezionamento, Pisa.
