The Event is in English and is organized by the Department of Legal Studies 'Angelo Sraffa' jointly with the European Patent Organization.

The Workshop on IP Management Case Studies is a joint Bocconi-EPO event. Its purpose is to discuss relevant practical cases on successful use of intellectual property starting from relevant studies published recently published internationally. The event will gather one speaker for each article and will permit a debate between lawyers and economists on each of the topics addressed by the articles. To this end, there will be, for each article presentation, an Academic as discussant and an Academic as moderator, mostly from Bocconi University Law Department and other Bocconi University Departments. Colleagues from other interested areas will also be involved in the event and are mostly welcome. The expected, final result will be a real debate around each article presentation, rather than a mere sequence of lectures. This will allow to draw conclusions on best practices and the way forward for intellectual property protection and promotion, both for law and economics.
