Note biografiche

Dottore di ricerca in Economia aziendale (Università Bocconi), Post-doc presso la Carnegie Mellon University (Pittsburgh, PA, USA) e Visiting Professor presso IE Business School (Madrid, SP).


Curriculum Accademico

Professore Ordinario di Organizzazione d’Impresa e Network Analysis presso l’Università Bocconi e la SDA Bocconi School of Management. È stato Dean della SDA Bocconi School of Management da Novembre 2016 a Novembre 2022. In precedenza, ha guidato la Divisione Ricerca Claudio Dematté della SDA Bocconi (2006-2012) e il Dipartimento di Management and Technology (2012-2016). È attualmente membro dell'Accreditation Board di EQUIS (EFMD - European Foundation for Management Development, Bruxelles,) e membro (eletto) del Board di GMAC (Graduate Management Admission Council, Washington DC, USA). Il lavoro di ricerca del Prof. Soda si focalizza sullo studio delle reti sociali organizzative e sugli impatti dell’interazione tra queste e l’organizzazione formale delle imprese. La sua ricerca è internazionalmente riconosciuta ed è stata pubblicata sulle più importanti riviste scientifiche di management e organizzazione come: Administrative Science Quarterly, Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Organization, Academy of Management Annals, Journal of Management, Organization Studies, Research in the Sociology of Organizations, Journal of World Business, Strategy Science. L'attività di ricerca del Prof. Soda ha ottenuto diversi riconoscimenti e premi come: Premio Eccellenza nella Ricerca (2020, 2019, 2018, 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011, 2009, 2008 and 2001), Premio Impatto della Ricerca (2017), Best Paper alla Conferenza Italiana dei Docenti di Organizzazione (2010, 2005, 2002).


Aree di interesse scientifico

L’attività di ricerca del Professor Soda ha investigato in diversi settori (industrie creative, farmaceutico, beni di largo consumo, auto, costruzioni, energia, banche) il ruolo degli assetti organizzativi, il loro allineamento con la strategia e l’interazione dell’organizzazione formale con i network intra-organizzativi e inter-organizzativi. È considerato come uno dei principali esperti di “Dinamica dei Network Organizzativi” e tra gli studiosi che hanno innovato le metodologie di progettazione organizzativa attraverso l’estensione dei metodi di network analysis.
