Mission & Content Summary

MISSION

The mission of this seminar is to explore the trends of cyber risks under multiple perspectives (technical, economical, geopolitical, societal) and to present the skills required to have a career in this field. The seminar provides a toolkit for students of the Master of Science in Cyber Risk Strategy and Governance, including an introduction to emerging professional opportunities and challenges in the program-specific professional areas (cyber risk management and data protection and security) and an overview of relevant cyber topics and how they influence activities and value generated by companies, governments and institutions.

CONTENT SUMMARY

The course introduces key topics in cyber risks with a specific reference to: 
-    Understanding the cyber risk from multiple perspectives
-    Current professional challenges and opportunities related to cyber risk
-    Trends and topics of cyber risks and how they affect companies, institutions and governments

Face to face activities are aimed at exploring the key topics related to cybersecurity. 

Case studies and incidents support the discussion.
