Mission e Programma sintetico / Mission & Content Summary

MISSION

The course aims at providing support for the main curricular course (in the second semester). It is aimed at students with a B1 (intermediate) level (see CEFR framework) in order to enable them to follow the main curricular B2 (post intermediate) course in order to pass the Bocconi internal exam from the end of the first year.

PROGRAMMA SINTETICO / CONTENT SUMMARY

The duration of the course is (24 hours) in Year 1 , Semester 1. There is no exam.

 

The main topic areas covered during the course include reviewing relevant grammar, legal and business vocabulary pertinent to the main B2 curricular course topics and an introduction to related writing tasks and presentations.

 

Topic areas included in the course are the following:

 

a)Language of the courtroom

 

b)Explaining facts

 

c)Giving background information 

 

d)Civil law v criminal law
