Course Objectives

The course has the purpose of providing the basic mathematical tools to build up and to analyze the most relevant quantitative models in Economics, Finance and Management. Foundations and methods which are applied in other fields as Statistics, Economics and Banking, play a central role in the course. The course consists of lectures and exercises in class. The e-Learning is systematically used.

Detailed Description of Assessment Methods
The exam can be taken in two alternative ways:
  • two partial written exam (one in the middle and one at the end of the course), both composed by exercises and questions concerning the main topics of the classes.
  • a written general exam, composed by exercises and questions concerning the main topics of the classes.
Assessment methods and program are the same for attending and not-attending students.
