LUCA ENRIQUES

I am a Full Professor of Business Law at Bocconi University. From 2014 to early 2025 I was the Professor of Corporate Law at the University of Oxford Faculty of Law. I am also a Research Fellow (and Research Member) at the European Corporate Governance Institute (on whose board of directors I sit), a Fellow Academic Member of the European Banking Institute (where I co-chair the Fintech Working Group), and a Visiting Research Fellow at the Institute of European and Comparative Law at the University of Oxford Faculty of Law. 

I have published widely in the fields of comparative corporate law (including The Anatomy of Corporate Law, Oxford University Press, 2017), securities regulation and banking law (including Principles of Financial Regulation, Oxford University Press, 2016). 

I have held visiting positions, among others, at Harvard, LUISS, IDC Herzliya, Cambridge, Sydney Law School, and Bocconi.
