CONOSCENZA E COMPRENSIONE / KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
Students will improve their written legal competence to enable them to confidently face their core subjects taught and tested in English. The course will also aim to widen students' legal knowledge as well as developing their skills set.

In addition to face-to-face lectures, teaching methods also include:
• Exercises: preparation of case studies, legal essay language and layout, legal language development

STUDENTI FREQUENTANTI / ATTENDING STUDENTS
The assessment will consist of a written exam of two parts: Part 1: reading comprehension, Part 2: listening to writing.
There is no oral part to this exam.
The grade will be expressed in thirtieths
The test lasts for 90 minutes.
All exams will be held in presence using student's own personal PC (with Respondus Lockdown Browser).
Continuous assessment Test: one mark will be awarded for each of the two tests (max two marks). These marks will only be added to the full exam if it has been passed with 18 or over, and if students have attended at least 75% of the curricular course. These extra marks will only be added to an exam taken iin the sessions held on 13th December 2024 and 17th January 2025 respectively. The test can only be sat in presence.
STUDENTI NON FREQUENTANTI / NOT ATTENDING STUDENTS
ALL THOSE WHO HAVE NOT SELECTED A CLASS OR ATTENDED LESS THAN A 75% OF THE TOTAL COURSE HOURS ARE CONSIDERED NON ATTENDING STUDENTS
