Course Objectives
The aim is to intertwine theoretical intuitions, empirical evidence and policy consequences, with a specific attention to Europe and US.Course Content Summary
The course will be focused on relevant contemporary macroeconomic issues, starting form the causes of the Great Crisis, and then discussing the monetary and fiscal policies before, during and after the Crisis. The modenr intertemporal approach to macroeconomics will be used, building mainly on tools already developed in the typical first-year macro courses. The presentwtion will rely on real wordl data and examples, highliting the possible policy implications.Detailed Description of Assessment Methods
