Course Objectives
The course aims to provide students with basic knowledge of environmental law. In particular, after analyzing the international and EU principles of the sector and the juridical notion of environment, the course analyze the Italian environmental code.

Assessment for attending students- 33% of the mark: short essay (max 500 words) on a topic of students’ choice or on one of the principles of EU environmental law as it applies in Italy
- 33% of the mark: partial exam on the first part of the Course (closed-book examination)
- 33% of the mark: partial exam on the second part of the Course (open-book examination)
- 33% of the mark: short essay (max 500 words) on a topic of students’ choice or on one of the principles of EU environmental law as it applies in Italy
- 66% of the mark: final written exam made up of:
- Two questions on the second part of the Course (open-book examination)
Assessment for non-attending students
- 100% of the mark: final written exam on the entire Course

Prerequisites
For attending the exam is required to have previously passed the exam of Administrative Law (Mod. 1).
